When individuals seek advice and buy medications at community pharmacies, pharmacists utilize PharmCare for prescribing. eRun plays a pivotal intermediary role by employing API integration technology to ensure smooth communication between the POS system and the PharmCare medication management system, facilitating effective operational assistance for community pharmacies.

Efficient Medication Management Process
As community pharmacy pharmacists issue prescriptions, the PharmCare system automatically produces a QR code with medication details. The eRun POS system scans this code, swiftly identifying and recording the medication quantities bought by customers. It promptly generates a sales receipt and updates the inventory in the pharmacy, significantly boosting operational efficiency while guaranteeing the accuracy and immediacy of inventory information.

Powerful Medication Expiry Tracking
The eRun POS system includes a robust medication expiry tracking feature that precisely logs and monitors the manufacturing and expiry dates of every medication batch. This guarantees the safe usage of medications within their shelf life, mitigating risks linked to expired products. Furthermore, the system tracks the sales status of each batch, furnishing pharmacies with data for efficient inventory management and predictive demand analysis.

Self-Checkout Enhances Service Quality
The integration of a self-service kiosk with the POS system elevates the service standards of community pharmacies.
